This kind of travelling is very useful, especially before Easter and spring in general. Depressions, melancholies, when the weather is made of iron and doesn´t want to let go the rain it is time for the mental detox. Austria with a spectacular nature gives you exactly the same thing you see in a Milka chocolate commercial. Now, breathe in, beathe out...
Během pár hodinek jsme dojeli do Salzburku, kde jsme si udělali menší kulturní zastávku a obešli si centrum městečka, které leželo v objetí zasněžených vrcholků.
Within a few kilometers, we arrived in Salzburg, where we had a smaller cultural stop and walked around the town center, which lays in the embrace of the snowy peaks. The air changed immediately and everything seemed very fresh and pleasant. Like when your negative mockery evaporates from the top of your head ...
Skiing in Austria is something completely different. It seemed to be very authentic to me, perhaps because, as we were accommodated on a farm between little cows (yaaay soo Bioo !!!) . Not many people speak English in here so it´s always useful to take someone speaking a bit German with you.
Trails are very short for skiing and have an awkward inclination. Sometimes even slopes seemed to be forgotten to be rolled down for the next day ... But the lifts were amazing- heated and wide enough, so you can sit on the lift with your skiing squad. The restaurants are really expensive and the selection is weaker. If you are not downright fans of fries and meat, you have to survive on strudel and soups. On the other hand, all the interiors of ski restaurants and bars are pimped and dining in them is quite an experience.
