Je čas si trochu osvěžit svůj playlist a zbavit se vánočních koled. Tento měsíc posílám hudební múzy z retro časů, alternativních žánrů a taky trochu té klasiky. Tak hezké poslouchání!
It´s time for the new January´s refreshment and get rid of those bloody X-mas songs. This month, I am sending you a pack of muses from the retro times, alternative genres and a bit of classic as well. Have a nice tunning!
Robin S- Show me love
One of the very first house-dance tracks, which took over the dancefloor, when our parents met and we were about to be born!
Martin Garrix- Forbidden Voices
Dutch youngster finally jumped over his beeping commercial set of "Animals" and finally, starts to get more popular with his new hits. I wish him, not to fall into the spirit of commerce and mainstream and do, what he loves doing. This track pumps it and it´s very playful!
Theory of Everything- Soundtrack
If you haven´t seen the film yet, go go go see it! Eddie Redmyne knocked down all of the Hollywood´s stars and last year, he won the Academy Award for the best actor in this film. The whole story is packed with a classical music, connected via piano sounds, which breathes in the full atmosphere. A scene, where Stephen Hawking is trying to find the answers to his theory during his illness, which pushes him into the wheelchair, gives it a completely different musical ankle. Oh, and by the way it is brilliant to listen to, when studying!
Lifelike- So Electric
Here are the echoes of France. We speak about a new retro wave, which means that artists of these days are being inspired by our parent´s dacefloors, so their kids would like their music as well. I´ve bumped into this track by an accident, but the accidents are certainly the best ones! With Lifelike you may dance all of your problems off!
College ft. Electric Youth- A Real Hero
Nope, we are not focusing on Ryan Gosling´s appearance in here! This is, where you hear a production coming from Canada, Ontario. The echoes of nostalgia and melancholy at the same time, creates a vision of the ending titles, when the film ends! This song, comes from a film "Drive" and apparently it should have been nominated for the best motion picture soundtrack at the Academy Awards in 2011.
Chromatics-Tick of the clock
This band is getting to be quite popular- it is getting there. Their singer is trying to promote the women´s individuality in all ways, especially when she is the only female in the whole group. This band put it all together at 2001 and they´ve been working their way up all time. You might find a genre, called a "lo-fi punk", while listening to these guys. Don´t get scared away, because of the quirky name, it is a sensation of sounds which delightens your ear, I promise you!
Tame Impala-The less I know the better
Psychedelic rock, coming from AUstralie crosses all borders! A chillful sounds come from a new project by Kevin Parker. These are no newbies. Their ideas don´t miss any gaps in a dreamy melody. But that dreamy melody probably just needs to take some time, to get international, some people need probably an extra time to get used to their new style.
David Bowie- Lazarus
It is quite necessary to mention this musical genius. After a several heartattacks, he made it to the point to release his last on album- literally on a last minute, right before his 69th birthday, when cancer trapped him. What I love about him, he never had a need to change only, because the time changed, he always does it his own way. In his song "Lazarus" we can pretty much here the pain he was trying to swim with. Many music servers even mentioned that he predicted his end.
