I do apologize for my unproductiveness. This week been pretty busy-packed with studying and creating stuff to school, essentialy.
Will try to recover this week by finally starting to use the "TO DO" list. Seriously need to create an ordinary stereotyped regime and lose the procrastination. Let´s see if I´ll be able to handle it until Christmas (hihi)
Because I am mentioning the previous week in a week after, I actually need to pull out my diary out from the bag to check, what actually happened last week. Of course I remember special moments, which were unforgettable and in these moments I was like "ahhh got to write about this."
Něco nepředstavitelného, to byste nevěřili, fakt.
About one of these magical moments I might be actually able to write a thesis. I was walking from school back home, for the very first time, through the Chinese street to the center of Hague. After a few meters I´ve noticed a group of people aiming with their Aiphones somewhere upwards. Got a goose pumps by imagining, what they might have been taking pictures of ,after such an exhausting week in Paris. When I got closer, I´ve seen it. Full tree, which already lost its autumn´s leafes, packed and covered in yellow colour. Parrots, to be specific. It was literally unbelieveable and yet so incredibly random. Was trying so hard to capture that image on my phone, but was way too scared to come a bit closer. Really didn´t want to end up being covered in parrot´s excrements as most of the cars, parking by the tree.
As the Christmas are getting closer, the time is becoming quite surreal, as it gets so close to my very final exams in January. That is always why, 80% of my daily routine rotates around studying and measuring the possibilities of where and when I would be able to study or revise. It is not really about feeling like a proper nerd, more likely the realization, that even lazy people at this uni know, that they need to study at least a month ahead to pass. My home university is sadly uncomparable in this drive. And I am so incredibly grateful for such a kick, because I just did not stop this week with studying.
JOEPIE!!!
At the "Working with diversity" lesson, we´ve developed an interesting topic about sexism and feminism. I was really surprised by myself ,how such I´ve evoken such a diplomat in myself. All of the arguments, connected with sexism and unsatisfaction were bursting out of me. I got embarassed after a couple more minutes, when the whole class was just starring at me and nodding. Anyway-all of this...to be continued later in an extra article coming up ;).
I also got quite disappointed from our professor for "The Events Organization." I was really hoping, that our final project will be actual reliable event, which would take a part at school. Was mistaken, he just needs an inspiration from us, student for his own company. The company, where he works, was asked by brazilian company planning the Olympics, to realize an event packed with brazilian culture aimed for students in Netherlands. And this is our task to do, so então vamos em frente!
On Thursday I had this mentioned presentation for a project Europe@ Home with the full-time students. Had it all set up and ready, full of pictures and even mention of my "How to be properly Dutch article". I was soo delighted, because even LOCALS were laughing!! JOEPIE!!!
WEEEKEEEEEEEEND!!! BYE BYE studying! Friday, it is time of my very first school field trip! We went to this water barrier, which stops flowing water in a massive amounts to Netherlands. The iron construction was big as two Eiffel towers next to each other. It was quite interesting, just the weather was nasty. We had a marvellous guide, though, she was very speeded up (in Holland it is not very good to ask, because it is still a country, which is the biggest disco-drugs consumer).
Very grotesque moment happened on our way back, when someone spilled a coffee on the floor the bus driver asked for 20 euros from everyone. Naturally, none came up and said that it was him. Oh well, as Nina said, all of the bus drivers are internationally, the same.
Šli jsme kolem kostela, odkud jsme slyšeli hudbu a reflektory. Stoupla jsem si před zadní dveře kostela a strčila do nich vší silou.
V kostele to nekončilo.
We´ve picked up another Czech gang, which came for a Dutch visit! This time it was my ex schoolmate and her boyfriend! Their video is the top, and pumped us for another travels- have a look HERE. The catchy song in this video is literally unforgettable and Jon could whistle it for about two hours!
We were chasing each other for a bit, but then we found ourselves! We had so much to do with catching up, when we haven´t seen each other since summer. Was incredibly pleased and glad that we could do it in Hague. After a brewery visit, I could feel the alcohol already flowing in my bloodstream and the desire to mischief. We´ve walked around a church, party was vibrating through the whole church. Am not gonna lie, I just pushed into a back door and we´ve crushed in! Right into to the middle of the VIP sector!!! Sadly, the drinks were not free, but we´ve been definitely enjoying the adrenaline!
It didn´t end up in a church. We made a move from bar to bar a couple of times. It was a long night, but it was definitely worth it. We came back at about 4 o´clock in the morning.
Lazy Saturday, last Autumn walk and a fancy dinner. Saturday was about getting sober and relaxing- well deserved! It was time to go back to the earth b,y thinking about future on Sunday again and Christmas too. We´ve aimed for Rotterdam and shops in it. But finally! Had our very first traditional Dutch meal- Hutspot (a sausage with squashed potatoes and vegetables). I am not gonna lie to you in here as well- didn´t feel good after.
